Kevin Flattery photoKevin Flattery has over 25 years of nonprofit experience as an administrator, board member and consultant. As a nonprofit consultant Kevin specializes in major gift campaigns and since 1997 nonprofit business planning. In business planning he brings over a dozen years of for-profit experience, having built three business from the ground-up and successfully positioning them for profitable sales. "From my experiences nonprofit organization's routinely undervalue their assets and the opportunities they present in the open market. It is my job to help them reassess the business they are in and to discover their hidden earned-income potential." Kevin is currently assisting over a half-dozen nonprofits develop earned-income ventures and is managing a multi-million capital campaign at a Kansas City educational institution. Marc LeeMarc Lee, President of Affinity Resources LLC, is both a Certified Fund Raising Executive and a Webmaster. He consults nationwide with nonprofits on a variety of fundraising and planning issues, specializing in the opportunities and challenges of creating virtual presences for nonprofits. Marc has particular expertise in online ventures, focusing on website useability, email campaigns, and Internet marketing strategy. After a career as a programmer and database designer, his computer and financial experience brought Marc to fundraising. John Shehane photo

John Shehane, CFRE has been involved in development work for 38 years. He has generated resources for such organizations as Girl Scouts, United Way, The University of Missouri-Kansas City, University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and Pembroke Hill School. Since 1994, he has been the President of The John Shehane Group, (now known as the New John Shehane Group) a fundraising and marketing firm serving nonprofits with an emphasis in planned giving, asset-building campaigns, strategic and business planning and development program outsourcing. John was among the founders, and has served as President of both the Greater Kansas City Council on Philanthropy and the Mid America Chapter of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives. He was the 1990 recipient of the Fund Raising Excellence Award of the Greater Kansas City Council on Philanthropy and the 1991 Trainer of the Year Award from the Center for Management Assistance. He has served on the National Ethics Committee of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives and currently serves on several nonprofit boards and advisory groups.
